Jonathan specialises in advising corporate clients on
superannuation (pension) issues and investment matters. He has had
personal experience advising participants in the UEB and Cullen legal
cases, which are both landmark precedents in New Zealand superannuation
law.
In 1994 he was the expert witness in the human rights test case
involving superannuation issues, Coburn vs The Human Rights
Commission. In 1995 he was an expert witness in the tax test case
between Gibson & Ors vs The Commissioner of Inland Revenue.
